The Combustion of Forest Humus Blended with Low-Rank Coal: Effects of Oxygen Ratio and Blending Ratio

In this study, the combustion characteristics of pine needles, needle humus, and co-combustion these two types biomass with coal were compared. addition, optimization performance coal/humus was assisted through following studies: (i) coal/pine humus studied under four different oxygen concentrations (N2, 10%O2/90%N2, 20%O2/80%N2, 40%O2/60%N2); (ii) synergistic effect between during also investigated by adjusting blending ratio content; (iii) mechanisms optimized processes expounded kinetics thermodynamics discussion. The results demonstrated that blends found to be higher than those blends. coupling interactions content contributed significant fuels, showed a nonlinear variation an increased concentration. in rich environment (O240%/N260%) is 5.1 times greater synthetic air (O220%/N280%) 13.8 oxygen-poor (O210%/N290%).
